The Role
As a credit control administrator day to day duties will include;
The calculation of the correct allocation of money owed for customers who have undergone a change of ownership/occupancy at the address supplied.
The administration of customers going into formal insolvency; minimising any further bad debt and optimising chances of a dividend.
Re-calculation of invoices previously rated using the incorrect billing tariff.
Monthly invoice validation; assessing the accuracy of customer charge types; associated billing tariffs; presentation and any other associated billing rules.
Tracking of bad debtors; taking a cross section of all the information available and identifying possible leads to the debtor using web based tools as well as other data sources.
Requirements
Candidates will require experience in a similar role. Strong and accurate reporting skills and a good working knowledge of excel are essential. Individuals from a finance background working towards their AAT or similar qualifications will also be suitable. Graduates with a relevant degree discipline will also be considered.
