Engineer Works Scheduler and Help Desk Support
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £22,000.00 with raise after a successful 6 months probation period.

Company will review candidate’s profile after the probation period. Increments will be provided accordingly.

We are looking for a candidate to join our company, working in an office team of 8, based in Kingston upon Thames.

The company was established in 1991 and has a wealth of fire defence experience in protecting all sizes and complexities of premises. We supply, install and maintain of a wide range of fire defence systems and equipment in the London area and South East England.

The successful candidate will join our busy office to carry out various duties such as:
• Schedule and arrange engineers' jobs using CASH software. Ensure that engineers’ jobs are booked in appropriate manner (i.e. distance between jobs, route, travel etc…)
• Arrange call outs within allocated response time.
• Management of e-mails to ensure that all requests of information are responded to within organization timescales.
• Support the field and planning teams with all duties.
• Purchasing materials and raising engineers purchase orders.
• Day to day liaison with field personnel to sort out their queries for jobs, site access, materials etc…
• Actively seek ways to continuously improve the performance against KPIs. Review of monthly statistics for the services.
• Ensures company standards and procedures are adhered to by those employees.
• Provide excellent customer service including technical support. Investigate and respond to customer complaints.
• Effectively manage own workload and work unsupervised.

Key Requirement:
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels internally and externally.
• Ability to build positive working relationship at all levels with colleagues and a range of customers.
• Previous experience in a project planning role preferably in the Fire & Security Industry
• Preferably basic knowledge or qualification for Electrical/Fire Engineering
• The ability to operate whilst under time pressure and demanding constraints.

It is essential that you have working knowledge and experience in the duties above, including office type work, diary management, database entry work, good phone manner and that you have a technical background.

After the initial training period, and if successful a suitable place will be given within the company and you will continue with the training development plan.

Ideally you should live within a 10 mile radius of Kingston upon Thames.
